The focus of the Biostatistics Shared Resource (BSSR) is to collaborate with and provide support to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center members by providing analytical expertise and rigor that enhances peer-reviewed research to reduce the incidence of cancer, improve response and survival, reduce morbidity, manage symptoms, improve health-related quality of life and translate important laboratory discoveries into clinical practice.
The mission of the Qualitative and Patient-Reported Outcomes (Q-PRO) Shared Resource is to enrich science and improve health by amplifying perspectives on complex and underexplored health, system, and societal challenges.

Mission
The mission of the Qualitative and Patient-Reported Outcomes (Q-PRO) Shared Resource is to enrich science and improve health by amplifying perspectives on complex and underexplored health, system, and societal challenges.
The Q-PRO Shared Resource supports population-focused research by providing pre-award scientific consultation to investigators, and research infrastructure to support both qualitative and patient-reported outcomes research for funded projects. We address the unmet needs for methodological expertise in qualitative research and patient-reported outcomes that promote translational research in clinical and community settings.
Services Provided
Initial consultations are provided at no cost to the investigator. All other services are provided for a fee. Submit a Q-PRO Service Request Form to initiate an estimate. For grant proposals, please reach out at least three weeks prior to submission. For funded projects, please reach out at least two months before any requested work begins.
Qualitative Research Services
Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) Measurement Services
Services are available for all Atrium teammates across all locations, including the Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Levine Cancer Institute.
